What is the Green Acres
Leadership Programme?
Our programme provides an excellent opportunity
for participants to develop life skills in an
interactive, safe and fun way. Through
experiential activities, participants are
“Challenged by Choice” to look within
themselves and evaluate how they function in a
group setting.
Participants are given every opportunity to
succeed.
Participants practice and understand
communication, goal setting and problem solving
throughout their experience at our Centre.
Featuring:
- 35 ft. high double-sided Rock Climbing Walls
- 10 High Rope Course Elements (max. 35 ft.)
- 7 Low Rope Course Elements
- 2 Soccer Fields
- 1 Lacrosse/Ultimate Frisbee Field
- 2 Basketball Courts
School classes from grade 1 to grade 8, corporate groups, or any other group are able to book this fun and exciting course. Groups of 15 to 150 can be accommodated! (For larger groups - contact us to discuss specific needs)
Expectations
Participants will demonstrate:
- The use of critical and creative thinking skills
to solve problems and accomplish tasks.
- The ability to set realistic goals and monitor
their progress.
- Using various forms of communication.
- Positive ways of managing their behaviour.
Specific curriculum expectations are available for
Grades 5-12. Teachers can contact the Green
Acres Leadership Centre to receive specific
course related expectations.
